A boxing gym on the Mornington Peninsula built around you.

The Onya is a boxing gym in Rosebud, Mornington Peninsula, founded by Olympian and Commonwealth Games gold medalist Brad Pitt. We are not a franchise. We are not a fitness chain. We are a real boxing gym where people of all ages and fitness levels come to train, learn, and be part of something genuine.

WHY TRAIN AT THE ONYA.

The Onya was built on a simple idea: create a place where people of all ages and fitness levels can experience the benefits of boxing in a supportive, welcoming environment.

Led by Olympian and Commonwealth Games gold medalist boxer Brad Pitt, our classes combine expert coaching, structured programming, and a genuine passion for helping people improve both physically and mentally.

Whether your goal is to get fitter, build confidence, learn boxing skills, challenge yourself, or simply be part of a great community, you will find a class and a team that supports you every step of the way.

TRAIN WHERE AN OLYMPIAN COACHES.

The Onya was founded by Brad 'Hollywood' Pitt, a boxer who has done it at the highest level. Brad won the heavyweight gold medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, represented Australia at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and built a 19-1 professional record with 12 knockouts. He held the Australian cruiserweight title and fought across the country against the best in his division.

Brad grew up in Blairgowrie, right here on the Mornington Peninsula. After his fighting career, he came home to build the gym he always wanted to train in: a space where beginners feel comfortable, experienced boxers get pushed, and every person who walks through the door gets coached properly from day one.

When you train at The Onya, you are not following a generic fitness program. You are learning from a coaching team led by someone who has stood on Olympic and Commonwealth podiums and knows exactly what it takes to improve, regardless of where you are starting from.

WHAT MAKES ONYA SPECIAL.

What makes The Onya special is not just the training, it is the people. From the moment you walk through the doors, you will be welcomed into a community that encourages hard work, celebrates progress, and makes training something you genuinely look forward to.

With a range of classes for adults and youth, experienced coaches, and a culture built on respect, support, and enjoyment, The Onya is a place where everyone belongs.
